This adapter has more than 15 times transmission range of regular USB adapter at Line of Sight . Inside is a very powerful 802.11b/g/n 1000mW WIFI adapter and our patented design of 14dBi 20° H-Beam 65° V-Beam embeded antenna. Antenna gain 14dBi  plus the WIFI card TX power 30dBm, total TX power is 44dBm, no cable loss.

Antenna gain is the key for the transmission range. Theoretically every 6dBi gain increase will double the transmission range. Compare to other products in the market, this unit has the highest gain and more than 15 times longer range.

This unit is fully weather-proof, ideal for indoor and outdoor using. Outdoor use is very important to long range transmission of 2.4Ghz signal, we recommend you mount it outside to get clear line of sight(If use an active USB extension cord, be sure to seal the USB cable connector with silicone when you use it outdoor).

SuperUSB-ASN14 WIFI USB adapter provides users to launch IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless network at 150 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band, which is also compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g wireless devices at 54 Mbps. You can configure this adapter with ad-hoc mode to connect to other 2.4GHz wireless computers, or with Infrastructure mode to connect to a wireless AP or router for accessing to Internet. It includes a convenient Utility for scanning available networks and saving preferred networks that users usually connected with. Security encryption can also be configured by this utility.

Important facts you should know before bid:

This unit is directional, that means it only cover an narrow angle. When use it, you have to point it to the source with the white plastic side, not the metal side. With the USB cable point to the ground, it is a vertical polarized setup. Turn it 90 degrees, it will become horizontal polarized setup.To avoid possible network setting problem, plug it into the laptop, disable the built-in wireless card of the laptop, use it very close to the basestation. Make sure it work, then bring it to the PC, try again. Turn the unit to different direction, try to get the best effect. While scan the network, don't more the unit.

If you need a USB extension cable, make sure use a USB "active" extension cable (also known as a USB repeater cable).  This cable contains active electronics which boost the USB signal for maximum reliability and performance over extended distances. Those passive cable won't work on long length. USB extension cable available in our ebay store, pay only  $3.5 shipping cost for each cable shipped with the USB unit.

Range test result is based on same unit on each end, in clear line of sight. Because every application is different, we can' guarantee the result. For long range link(>1Km, or 0.6 mile), we recommend you install external antenna for the router side.

A: No, this is a completed solution. This unit is a high gain antenna and the 1000mW wireless card combo. So all your need is a spare USB port on the computer.

Q: " My laptop has a built-in WIFI adapter, can this antenna boost it?"

A: No, this unit has it's own WIFI adapter. Please disable the built-in card to use this unit.

Q: "I have three computers in my house, how can I use this antenna for all of them?"

A: You can connect this antenna to the computer USB port only. It is designed for one computer.

Q: "Can I connect this antenna to the router?"
