- What kind of equipment do I need to connect to NHWiFi.org?
Any wireless B enabled device should be able to connect to NHWiFi.org
so long as you are within range of one of our signals. You will need
a Web browser in order to login to our network.
- I can see the SSID "NHWiFi.org" but I can't get the login
page, what do I do?
All WiFi systems work best using line of sight. Try positioning your device towards a window if you are indoors. Most internal cards found in
laptops have an antenna in the monitor. Try positioning this towards
the window.
- How do I know if I have NHWiFi.org in my area?
NHWiFi uses an SSID broadcast. If you can see "NHWiFi.org" as an
available network, then you may have a chance of establishing a
connection. Your connection quality will also depend on your wireless
devices ability to communicate with our antenna.
- While using NHWiFi.org or any wireless network, is my
information secure?
Because your connection to our antenna is wireless, in theory it can
be intercepted by anybody within range of your computer or our antenna.
If doing online banking, please always use a secure login to protect
your valuable information.
